Bio
Brian Hilton has over 25 years of experience in sustainable product design. His expertise is in remanufacturing, product development, sustainable design, life cycle assessment, and lean manufacturing, and design engineering including: design of experiments, value engineering value analysis, and inventive problem solving. He has led many design and manufacturing projects including developing cost-effective manufacturing and remanufacturing processes. Prior to joining RIT, Brian worked in industry for 12 years where he designed and developed products from clean sheet concept-inception through fully-automated, high-speed production at domestic and international manufacturing plants.

This short course transforms RIT’s new $3M industry-scale remanufacturing test bed into a hands-on, interactive classroom. Participants will learn about a wide range of traditional technologies, as well as new technologies that are already reshaping how remanufacturing can be done.
