Paul Adamson is the Chief Revenue Officer for America’s Remanufacturing Company (ARC), the only vertically integrated returns management solution provider offering Recovery, Remanufacturing, Resale, and Recycling. ARC is the premiere partner to brands and retailers of Small Appliances, Floor Care products, Outdoor Power Equipment, Powered Hand Tools, Compressors, and Generators.
Paul is responsible for leading the business development, channel development, marketing and M&A activities for the business. His priority is to help Fortune 1000 companies derive value from returned products - reducing costs, providing valuable data, and developing new sales channels, all while managing risk.
Vaughn Henson

Vaughn Henson is the Director of Business Development at SRC Holdings, the oldest employee-owned remanufacturers in North America. Mr. Henson is responsible for developing strategic partnerships and acquisitions.
Prior roles include: GM of SRC Logistics and CFO roles in supply chain and chemical refining. He holds two international patents for interactive television guides. His career began in public accounting.
He serves on the board of RIC, Champion Athletes of the Ozarks, and Compat.io a startup firm specializing in configuration software systems.
The Henson’s reside in Ozark, MO, with their three children and three dogs and one cat. The couple maintains their sanity by escaping to the lake for boat rides and winding through the Ozarks on their touring motorcycle.
Brian Hilton

Brian Hilton has over 25 years of experience in sustainable product design. His expertise is in remanufacturing, product development, sustainable design, life cycle assessment, and lean manufacturing, and design engineering including: design of experiments, value engineering value analysis, and inventive problem solving. He has led many design and manufacturing projects including developing cost-effective manufacturing and remanufacturing processes. Prior to joining RIT, Brian worked in industry for 12 years where he designed and developed products from clean sheet concept-inception through fully-automated, high-speed production at domestic and international manufacturing plants.
Peter Martin

Peter Martin recently joined GIS from Pacific Gas & Electric Company, where he served for three years as a Senior Advising Materials Engineer. His prior experience includes eight years in Product Development at Pentair Technical Solutions, where he reached the level of Principal Engineer, and nine years of basic and applied research in the Materials Manufacturing and Engineering Directorate at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. He has extensive expertise in ceramic processing, and a diverse background that includes direct experience in the selection, characterization, and failure analysis of various ceramic, polymeric, and metallic systems. Peter holds a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from Johns Hopkins University.
Tim Millwood

Tim was appointed to Vice President – Global Manufacturing effective April 2018. Prior to that, Tim was Vice President - Procurement. He began his career with Cummins 27 years ago as an engineer in component machining for the Engine Business. In those 27 years, he has held a variety of engineering and purchasing roles in both the United States, as well as abroad in both Brazil and the UK. Between the years of 2011-2013, Tim was a member of the fourth Cummins Executive Development group (WIN7).
Tim’s leadership purpose is to provide organization, structure and insights to help people solve problems and succeed. He enjoys engaging in problems directly or through coaching opportunities with others, both at work and in his personal life. Working at Cummins, Tim had many leaders take time to share their experiences with him which has inspired him to “pay it forward.” Each year, Tim mentors many employees across his teams and other organizations. Sharing his experiences, insights and organization for personal and professional success provides great personal satisfaction to him as a leader.

Dr. Nabil Nasr’s research interests include remanufacturing, circular economy, life cycle engineering, cleaner production and sustainable product development. He founded RIT’s Center for Remanufacturing and Resource Recovery, a leading source of applied research in remanufacturing technologies. He is also CEO of the REMADE Institute, a national coalition working together on new clean energy initiatives, and serves as a member of the International Resource Panel of the United Nations Environment Programme. He has been an expert delegate with the U.S. Government in international forums such as the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation, United Nations, World Trade Organization, and OECD.

Kristi Schipull is a Senior Materials Engineer at the Golisano Institute of Sustainability (GIS) at Rochester Institute of Technology and serves as the REMADE Institute Remanufacturing & EOL Reuse Node Deputy Node Lead. Over a decade working in industry, she has developed expertise in manufacturing process development, materials microstructure analysis, failure mode and effects analysis, and non-destructive product testing. Ms. Schipull has leveraged her expertise in projects on remanufacturing process development, additive repair manufacturing technology application, and manufacturing technology validation, qualification, and commercialization. Drawing on her extensive experience in remanufacturing at Caterpillar Inc., she now applies these skills to innovative research in remanufacturing and product lifecycle extension at GIS — making materials more durable, valuable, and recoverable in support of a more circular industrial economy.
Michael Thurston

Dr. Michael Thurston has been working in the areas of sustainability and sustainment at RIT since 2001. His areas of active research include sustainable production, product remanufacturing, smart products and systems, life-cycle engineering, building and manufacturing energy systems, and asset health management. His project work includes collaborations in product and process design with many companies, and in technology development and deployment with organizations supporting Department of Defense ground, sea, and air systems.
Mark Walluk

Mechanical Design and Analysis Engineer
Mark Walluk is a mechanical design and analysis engineer at the Golisano Institute for Sustainability at Rochester Institute of Technology, where he applies his technical expertise in research, development, and engineering projects for commercial and defense programs. Prior to joining RIT, Mark worked in industry where he managed nuclear propulsion plant components for next generation ships and worked as an engineer for undersea proton exchange membrane fuel cell power plants. He is an author on publications in ASME, SAE, IJHE, and Energy&Fuels.
