Nenad Nenadic

Dr. Nenad Nenadic conducts inter-disciplinary, applied research in systems, including prognostics health monitoring (PHM), microgrids, and parametric design. He is interested in practical solutions for improving system’s economic and environmental performance, such as development collaboration modes between an independently-operating microgrid and the interfacing utility, extending the useful life of lithium ion batteries in microgrid applications (after the end of their primary useful life in electric vehicles), and development of solutions for reducing peak power demand in industrial and commercial buildings. He is working on application of evolutionary algorithms to process automation and optimization such as development of a semi-automated (human-in-the-loop) design environment.
